eDapter Toolkit in EAI

When Enterprise Application Integration requirements go beyond industry-standard products, the eDapter Toolkit is the quick and easy solution. With the eDapter Toolkit, a user without programming skills can create links between various databases in days instead of months allowing more rapid response to customers, intelligent collaboration with trading partners, and faster, more informed business decisions everywhere along your virtual supply chain. The toolkit is designed to transfer data between any two databases or between different tables residing on the same database. This toolkit helps in realizing the dream of a fully integrated organization, which was once not so easy because of incompatibility between different legacy systems or lack of integration between systems provided by different vendors. It can integrate legacy system of a financial firm and help it upgrade to a better and newer system without doing away with their existing system. Similarly, this toolkit will be a boon for an organization, which wants to go in for a new Human Resources ERP but does not want to discard the repository of information that has been built over a period of time and also does not wish to invest in the process of re-keying the data into new system (manually transferring the data is highly impractical process). The capability to transfer the data on real time basis is the strongest point of this toolkit. We have processes existing, which perform this data transfer from one database to other, but it is mostly done as a batch process at some predefined interval. The power of any information is when it is delivered on real time basis. Only then this information be utilized in intelligent and informed decision making.

The eDapter Toolkit V3.0 is a data transfer tool used to transfer data from one system to another system. It can also be used within a single database system, between tables. The toolkit is developed in Java? and enables the building of fast interfaces. A graphical user interface is used by the eDapter Toolkit V3.0 to build the code which eliminates the ongoing maintenance of code. The Toolkit enables real-time information access between execution and planning systems and beyond the corporate boundaries to suppliers and customers. The interface is created through configuration rather than programming. The toolkit generates code for three main processes involved in the data transfer, Extraction, Publishing and Subscription. The user just needs to carry out the configuration to transport data from the legacy system to an ERP system. If ERP and APS systems are provided by the same vendor, integration will be seamless and there will not be a need for integration toolkit. Nevertheless, eDapter Toolkit is capable enough to integrate ERP and APS supplied by different vendors. The eDapter Toolkit is versatile and easy to use.

The unique selling proposition (USP) of the product is directed at decreasing the time of development by automating user tasks and providing an abstract view of the complexities to the user.
