Overview of eDapter Toolkit
The eDapter Toolkit is a data transfer tool and it is designed to transfer data between any two databases or between different tables residing on the same database. The toolkit facilitates users with little technical knowledge to establish a link between two database systems. It generates code based on the users' configuration to transport data from a legacy system to an ERP system.
The major features of eDapter Toolkit are as follows:
- eDapter Toolkit supports extraction of data from RDBMS (Oracle database) and non-RDBMS databases (Microsoft Access®, Flat files), and also can convert XML objects into RDBMS data and vice versa.
- eDapter Toolkit is compatible with the following middlewareTIBCO, BEA®, Weblogic®, EJB calls, Advanced Queuing, IBM® Series (IBM® MQSeries®).
- Use of Java class variables to transfer data across the middleware.
- Drag and drop facility with the implementation of the workflow.
- Allows model reuse.
- Provides an interface to schedule the running of a process or an instance.
- Embedded SQL features, like conditional mapping using If / Else.
- Automatic class generation and mapping.
- Portable and can be deployed on all major platforms. Its compatibility with other software applications gives it an edge in system integration.
- eDapter Toolkit supports the following ODBC connectivityMerant drivers, Oracle ODBC driver, Microsoft® ODBC driver, supporting multiple connections per instance.
- As eDapter Toolkit is web-enabled all the instances can be controlled through Internet Explorer.
