Overview of the Tools in eDapter Toolkit
The following tools constitute eDapter Toolkit:
- Designer: Designer is a tool that provides a work area or platform to model (using nodes) and to configure processes. Nodes like Start, End, R2O, O2R, R2F, F2R, and Middleware can be dropped from the Nodes Area onto the canvas area and connected using connector nodes. These nodes can then be configured by selecting the database connection, adding tables and columns, creating queries, adding conditions, mapping source and destination and so on.
- Generate Business Objects: This tool is used to generate and view classes based on the users' inputs. For more information, refer to the section Generate Business Objects, Other Tools and Features of ETK.
- Configure Sequences: This tool is used to configure eDapter sequences and database sequences. Sequences can be created, altered and dropped. For more information, refer to the section Configure Sequences, Other Tools and Features of ETK.
- Generate Business Objects from Table: This tool can be used to generate business objects (classes) based on data in tables. This option will invoke all child tables for the selected table and the required columns can be selected. Based on selection, the class(es) will be generated. For more information, refer to the section Generate Business Objects from Tables, Other Tools and Features of ETK.
- Remote Explorer: This tool is used to access a file from the remote system and perform operations such as creating a folder, uploading a file, downloading a file, and so on. For more information, refer to the section, Remote Explorer, Other Tools and Features of eDapter Toolkit.
- Debug Console: This tool is used to view the configuration details of Java and ETK application.
