Configuring User-based Security

  1. Log on to Triniti Application Builder Administrator. The screen as shown in Figure 4 is displayed.
  2. Select the required Role & then select "Application Designer" application from corresponding dropdown lists.
  3. Click on the User Based Security link that appears on the left side of the screen.

    The User Based security can also be accessed by navigating to build frame of Application Designer by clicking on the Build link and then clicking Functions????? Application Designer????? User Based Security from the menu bar to configure user-based security for applications:

    You see the following screen:

  4. On left pane, you see the list of available users. Each user will be assigned with one or more roles. The access to the applications for a user is determined by the role assigned to the user in TAS.

    Note: You can assign roles to users using the TAS application.

  5. Double-click on any user name to see the applications that the user can access. The right pane displays the applications that the user can access. To restrict the user from accessing one or more applications, clear the corresponding checkboxes. Click on the Save icon available at top of the User Based Security frame to save the changes that you've made.
