How to Clear Cache in a Client System?

You can clear cache using the Java Plug-in tool in the Control Panel.

To clear cache:

  1. On the task bar, click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double click Java Plug-in 1.4.1 in the Control Panel. You see the following screen:

  3. Click the Cache tab.

    Note: Your browser caches the Java runtime file only when the Enable Caching checkbox is selected.

  4. Click on the Clear Cache button. The Clear Cache dialog asks for confirmation.

  5. Click Yes to erase all the files in the cache.
