The eDapter toolkit is designed to transfer data between any two databases or between different tables residing on the same database. ETK 5.0 Designer is used to build a model. Nodes can be configured in the Designer.
Configuring nodes is the fourth step in creating a process.
Nodes Configuration_Figure 1: The fourth step in creating a process
There are different types of nodes available such as Start, End, R2O, O2R, connector nodes, Middleware nodes and so on. All the nodes are explained in the section Nodes Area in Section, About User Interface and Navigation.
The Start node is always used to start a process whereas the End node is used to represent the completion of the process. Other nodes such as R2O, O2R, R2F, F2R are used to represent the data transport. The Forward Connector node is used to connect any two nodes in the process. Middleware nodes are used to represent the publishing of objects into the middleware.
Note: After a node is configured, click anywhere in the work area to apply the configuration to the node and then save the model else the configuration is not saved.
In this section, configuration of R2O, O2R, R2F, F2ORA, ViewerForm, FTP, F2Mail, MaiL2F, Sequencer, XL2File, X2O, O2X and Middleware are explained.
